Genesis 40
1 and it is becoming after these
things: cupbearer and the one baking to their lords, king of Egypt sinned. 2
and Pharaoh is being wrathful over his two eunuchs, chief over the cupbearers
and the ones baking. 3 and he is giving them in ward, house chief of the
executioners; to house of the curve; place which Joseph being bound there. 4
and he is giving supervision Joseph, chief of the executioners, with them; and
he is ministering them; and they are becoming days in ward. 5 and two of them
are dreaming dream; each his dream in one night; man as interpretation of his
dream; the cup bearer and the one baking, who to king of Egypt, who ones being
bound in house of the curve; and Joseph is coming to them in the morning, and seeing
them; and, behold, them ones being turbulent! 7 and
he is asking eunuchs of Pharaoh, who with him in ward, house of their lords, to
say: for what reason your faces evil ones the day? 8 and they are saying to him:
dream we dreamed, and one interpreting there is no him; and Joseph is saying to
them: not to Elohim interpretations? Relate, please, to me! 9 and chief of the
cupbearers is relating his dream to Joseph, and saying to him: in my dream, and,
behold, vine to my faces! 10 and in vine three intertwining branches, and as
one budding came up their blossom, they ripened clusters of her grapes. 11 and
cup of Pharaoh in my hand; and I am taking the grapes and pressing them to cup
of Pharaoh, and giving the cup on palm of Pharaoh. 12 and Joseph is saying to
him: this his interpretation: the three intertwining branches, they three days.
13 in further three days Pharaoh shall lift up your head and restores you on your
post and you give cup of Pharaoh in his hand as the former custom, which you
were his cupbearer. 14 that only remember me with you, as which it shall be
good to you; and, please, do with me kindness, and mention me to Pharaoh, and bring
me forth from this house. 15 that to be stolen I was stolen from land of the
Hebrews, and moreover here not I did anything, that they placed me in cistern.
16 and chief of the ones baking is seeing, that good he interpreted; and he is
saying to Joseph: indeed I in my dream and, behold, three of trays of wicker on
my head. 17 and in the uppermost tray from all food of Pharaoh, deed of one
baking, and the flyer eating them from the tray from on my head. 18 and Joseph
is answering and saying: this his interpretation: the three trays, they three days.
19 in further three days Pharaoh shall lift your head from on you, and hangs
you on tree; and the flyer eats your flesh from on you. 20 and it is becoming
in the third day to be born of Pharaoh, and he is making feast for all his
servants; and lifting up head of chief of the cupbearers, and head of chief of
the ones baking in midst of his servants. 21 and he is restoring chief of the
cupbearers on his cupbearing, and giving the cup on
palm of Pharaoh. 22 and chief of the ones baking he hanged; as which Joseph
interpreted to them. 23 and not chief of the cupbearers remembered Joseph, and forgetting
him.
