Genesis 35
1 and Elohim is saying to Jacob:
rise! Go up! Beth-El; and dwell there! And make there altar to El, the one appearing
to you in to run away you from faces of Esau, your brother! 2 and Jacob is
saying to his household and to all, which with him: take away Elohim of the
foreigner, which in your midst! And clean yourselves! And change your garments!
3 and we shall rise and go up Beth-El; and I shall make there altar to El, the
one answering me in day of my distress and was with me in way, which I went. 4
and they are giving to Jacob all Elohim of the foreigner, which in their hand; and
the pendants, which in their ears; and Jacob is burying them under the
terebinth which with Shechem. 5 and they are
journeying; and Elohim is becoming dismay on the cities, which round about them;
and not they pursued after sons of Jacob. 6 and Jacob is coming Luz ward, which
in land of Canaan, she Beth-El; he and all the people with him. 7 and he is
building there altar; and calling to the place: El of Beth-El (that there the
Elohim were revealed to him in to run away of him from faces of his brother). 8
and Deborah is dying, one suckling of Rebecca; and being entombed from under
Beth-El, under the oak; and he is calling his name: oak of lamentation. 9 and Elohim
is appearing to Jacob further, in to come him from Padan~Aram,
and blessing him. 10 and Elohim is saying to him: name of you Jacob; not your
name shall be called further Jacob, but rather: Israel is becoming your name; and
he is calling his name Israel. 11 and Elohim is saying to him: I El, Who
Suffices; be fruitful and increase! Nation and assembly of nations shall become
from you, and kings from your loins shall come forth. 12 and the land which I
gave to Abraham and Isaac: to you I am giving her, and to your seed after you,
I am giving the land. 13 and Elohim is ascending from on him in the place,
which he spoke with him. 14 and Jacob is setting up monument in the place,
which he spoke with him; monument of stone; and he is libating
libation and pouring oil on her. 15 and Jacob is calling name of the place, which
Elohim spoke with him there: Beth-El. 16 and they are journeying from Beth~El, and it is becoming, still distance of the land to
come of Ephrathah; and Rachel is giving birth, and
she is having hardship, in her to give birth. 17 and it is becoming, in to her have
hardship, in to give her birth, and the one being midwife is saying to her:
must not be you are fearing, that moreover this to you son. 18 and it is
becoming, in to go forth of her soul (that she died), and she is calling his
name: Ben-Oni, and his father called to him: Benjamin. 19 and Rachel is dying, and
being entombed in way of Ephrathah (she Beth~Lehem). 20 and Jacob is setting up monument over her
tomb (she monument of tomb of Rachel unto the day). 21 and Israel is journeying,
and pitching his tent from beyond to Migdal Eder. 22 and

sons of Jacob were two ten. 23 sons of Leah, firstborn of Jacob: Reuben; and

27 and Jacob is coming to Isaac, his father, Mamre Kirjath

there. 28 and days of Isaac are becoming: hundred and eighty years. 29 and Isaac
is expiring, and dying, and being gathered to his peoples, old and satisfied of
days; and Esau and Jacob, his sons, are entombing him.
