Genesis 32

1 and Jacob went to his way; and messengers of Elohim are coming on in him. 2 and Jacob is saying, as which he saw them: this camp of Elohim; and he is calling name of the place the he: Mahanaim. 3 and Jacob is sending messengers to his faces to Esau, his brother, land ward Seir, field of Edom. 4 and he is instructing them to say: thus you shall say to my lord Esau: thus Jacob says, your servant: with Laban I sojourned, and I am delaying until now. 5 and it is becoming to me bull and donkey, flock and manservant and maid; and I am sending, to tell to my lord to find grace in your eyes. 6 and the messengers are returning to Jacob, to say: we came to your brother Esau; and moreover going to meet you, and four hundreds mans with him. 7 and Jacob is fearing exceedingly; and it is distressing to him; and he is dividing the people which with him, and the flock, and the herd, and the camels to two camps. 8 and he is saying: if Esau is coming to one camp and smites him; and it becomes: the one camp remaining to deliverance. 9 and Jacob is saying: Elohim of my father Abraham and Isaac; Yahweh, the one saying to me: return to your land and to your kindred and I shall do good with you! 10 I am small from all the kindnesses and from all the faithfulness which you did with your servant, that in my stick I crossed this Jordan, and now I became to two camps. 11 rescue me, please! From hand of my brother, from hand of Esau; that I fearing him; lest he is coming and smites me, mother on sons. 12 and you said: to do good I shall do good with you, and I place your seed as sand of the sea, which not shall be numbered from multitude. 13 and he is lodging there in the night the he, and taking from the one coming in his hand present for Esau, his brother. 14 two hundreds she goats, and twenty buck goats, two hundreds ewes, and twenty rams. 15 thirty suckling camels and their sons, forty young cows and ten young bulls, twenty female donkeys and ten colts. 16 and he is giving in hand of his servants, drove to drove alone; and he is saying to his servants: pass to my faces! And interval you shall place between drove and drove. 17 and he is instructing the first to say that: he is encountering you Esau, my brother, and asks you to say: to whom you? And whither you are going? And to whom these to your faces? 18 and you say: to your servant, to Jacob; present she, sent to my lord, to Esau; and behold, moreover he behind us! 19 and he is instructing moreover the second, moreover the third, moreover all the ones going after the droves, to say: as this word you shall speak to Esau in to find of you him. 20 and you say: moreover, behold, servant of you Jacob behind us; that he said: I shall make propitiatory shelter his faces in present the one going to my faces, and after so I shall see his faces; perhaps he shall lift up my faces. 21 and the present is passing on his faces, and he lodged in night the he in camp. 22 and he is rising in night he and taking his two women and his two maids and his one ten children and crossing, crossing Jabbok. 23 and he is taking them, and causing them to cross over the watercourse, and causing to cross over which to him. 24 and Jacob is being left to alone of him, and man is wrestling with him until to ascend of the dawn. 25 and he is seeing, that not he prevailed to him; and he is touching in bending of his thighbone; and she is being strained, bending of thighbone of Jacob, in to wrestle of him with him. 26 and he is saying: send away me, that the dawn ascends! And he is saying: not I shall let you go, except only you bless me. 27 and he is saying to him: what your name? And he is saying: Jacob. 28 and he is saying: not Jacob shall be said further your name, but rather Israel; that you are upright with Elohim and with mortals, and you are prevailing. 29 and Jacob is asking and saying: tell, please, your name! And he is saying: to what this? You are asking my name; and he is blessing him there. 30 and Jacob is calling name of the place: Peniel; that I saw Elohim, faces to faces, and my soul is being rescued. 31 and the sun is irradiating to him as which he passed Penuel; and he limping on his thigh. 32 on so not sons of Israel are eating sinew of the one benumbed, which on bending of the thighbone unto this day; that he touched in bending of thighbone of Jacob, in sinew of the one benumbed.
