1 and he is hearing words of
sons of Laban to say: Jacob took all which to our father, and from which to our
father he made all this glory. 2 and Jacob is seeing faces of Laban; and,
behold, there is no him with him as yesterday three days! 3 and Yahweh is
saying to Jacob: return to land of your fathers and to your kindred, and I
shall become with you. 4 and Jacob is sending and calling for Rachel and Leah (the
field); to his flock. 5 and he is saying to them: seeing I faces of your father,
that there is no him to me as yesterday three days; and Elohim of my father becomes
with me. 6 and you know, that in all my vigor I served your father. 7 and your
father trifled me, and varied my hire ten countings;
and not Elohim allowed him, to do evil with me. 8 if thus he is saying: specked
ones shall become your hire, and all the flock gave birth specked ones; and if
thus he is saying: striped ones shall become your hire, and all the flock gave
birth striped ones. 9 and Elohim is rescuing cattle of your father, and giving
to me. 10 and it is becoming, in season to conceive the flock: and I am lifting
my eyes, and I am seeing in dream: and, behold, the male goats, the ones going
up on the flock, striped ones specked ones and dappled ones! 11 and messenger
of the Elohim is saying to me in the dream: Jacob! And I am saying: behold me!
12 and he is saying: lift, please, your eyes and see: all the male goats, the
ones going up on the flock, striped ones specked ones and dappled ones; that I
saw all which Laban doing to you. 13 I the El Beth-El which there you anointed monument;
which there you vowed to me vow; now: rise! Go forth from this land! And return
to land of your kindred! 14 and Rachel and Leah are answering and saying to him:
still to us portion and allotment in house of our father? 15 not foreign ones
we are reckoned to him? That he sold us, and he is eating moreover, to eat our
silver. 16 that all the riches, which Elohim rescued from our father; to us he;
and to our sons; and now: all which Elohim said to you, do! 17 and Jacob is rising
and lifting his sons and his women on the camels. 18 and he is driving all his
cattle and all his goods, which he got; cattle of his acquisition, which he got
in Padan~Aram; to come to his father Isaac, land ward

household gods which to her father. 20 and Jacob is stealing heart of Laban,
the Aramean; on no he told to him, that running away he. 21 and he is running
away, he and all which to him; and he is rising and crossing the stream; and he
is placing his faces mountain of the Gilead. 22 and it is being told to Laban,
in the third day, that Jacob ran away. 23 and he is taking his brothers with
him and pursuing after him way of seven days, and following him hard in
mountain of the Gilead. 24 and Elohim is coming to Laban, the Aramean, in dream
of the night, and saying to him: beware to you, lest you are speaking with
Jacob from good unto evil! 25 and Laban is overtaking Jacob; and Jacob pitched his
tent in mountain; and Laban pitched with his brothers in mountain of the
Gilead. 26 and Laban is saying to Jacob: what you did? And you are stealing my
heart and leading away my daughters as being captives of sword. 27 to what you
hided to run away? And you are stealing me, and not tell to me; and I am
sending you in rejoicing and in songs, in tambourine and in harp. 28 and not
you let me kiss to my sons and to my daughters; now: you were silly to do. 29
there is to disposal of my hand, to do with you evil; and Elohim of your father
last night said to me, to say: beware to you from to speak with Jacob from good
unto evil! 30 and now: to go you go, that to long you long for household of your
father. To what you stole my Elohim? 31 and Jacob is answering and saying to
Laban: that I feared, that I said, lest you are snatching your daughters from
with me. 32 with whom you are finding your Elohim, not he shall live in front
of our brothers. Identify for yourself: what with me? And take to you! And not Jacob
knew, that Rachel stole them. 33 and Laban is coming in tent of Jacob, Leah,
and two of the maidservants; and not found; and coming forth from tent of Leah,
and coming in tent of Rachel. 34 and Rachel took the household gods, and is
placing them in saddle basket of the camel, and sitting on them, and Laban is
feeling all the tent, and not found. 35 and she is saying to her father: must
not be it is hot in eyes of my lord; that not I am able to rise from faces of
you, that way of women to me; and he is searching and not found the household
gods. 36 and it is being hot to Jacob; and he is contending in Laban; and Jacob
is answering and saying to Laban: what my transgression? What my sin? That you
dashed after me. 37 that you felt all my furnishings; what you found from all furnishings
of your house? Place thus in front of my brothers and your brothers! And they
shall correct between us two. 38 this twenty years I with you; your ewes and your
she goats not were bereaved; and rams of your flock not I ate. 39 one torn to
pieces, not I brought to you, I am making miss her; from my hand you are
seeking her; one being stolen of day and one being stolen of night. 40 I became:
in day drought devoured me, and ice in night; and sleep is flitting of me, from
my eyes. 41 this to me: twenty year I served in your household, four ten years
in two of your daughters, and six years in your flock; and you are varying my
hire ten countings. 42 unless Elohim of my father, Elohim
of Abraham and awe of Isaac became to me, that now empty handed you send me away;
my humiliation and weariness of my palms Elohim saw and is correcting last
night. 43 and Laban is answering and saying to Jacob: the daughters, my
daughters, and the sons, my sons, and the flock, my flock; and all which you
seeing to me he, and to my daughters; what I shall do to these the day or their
sons, whom they gave birth? 44 and now go! We shall cut covenant, I and you;
and it becomes to witness between me and you. 45 and Jacob is taking stone, and
raising her, monument. 46 and Jacob is saying to his brothers: pick up stones!
And they are taking stones and making mound and eating there on the mound. 47
and Laban is calling to him: Igr~Shedutha, and Jacob called
to him: Galeed. 48 and Laban is saying: this mound
witness between me and you the day; on so he called his name: Galeed. 49 and the Mizpah which
he said: Yahweh shall watch between me and you, that we are being concealed,
man from his associate. 50 if you are humiliating my daughters, and if you are
taking women on my daughters: there is no man with us; see, Elohim witness
between me and you! 51 and Laban is saying to Jacob: behold, this mound, and
behold, the monument which I aimed between me and you. 52 witness this mound, and
witness the monument; if I, not I shall pass to you this mound; and if you, not
you shall pass to me this mound and this monument for evil. 53 Elohim of
Abraham and of Nahor, they shall judge between us; Elohim of their father; and Jacob
is swearing in awe of his father Isaac. 54 and Jacob is sacrificing sacrifice
in mountain, and calling to his brothers to eat bread, and they are eating
bread, and lodging in mountain. 55 and Laban is rising early in morning, and
kissing his sons and his daughters, and blessing them; and he is going and Laban
is returning to his place.
