Genesis 30
1 and Rachel is seeing, that
not she gave birth for Jacob; and Rachel is being jealous in her sister; and saying
to Jacob: grant to me sons! And if there is no, I dying. 2 and anger is being hot of Jacob in Rachel, and he is saying: in stead of Elohim I, who withheld fruit of belly from you?
3 And she is saying: behold, my maidservant, Bilhah! Come to her! And she shall
give birth on my knees; and I shall be built, moreover I, from her. 4 and she
is giving to him Bilhah, her maid, for woman; and Jacob is coming to her. 5 and
she is becoming pregnant, Bilhah; and she is giving birth for Jacob son. 6 and Rachel
is saying: Elohim adjudicated me, and moreover heard in my voice, and giving to
me son; on so she called his name Dan. 7 and she is becoming pregnant further,
and giving birth (Bilhah, maid of Rachel) second son for Jacob. 8 and Rachel is
saying: twistings of Elohim I was twisted with my
sister; moreover I prevailed; and she is calling his name Naphtali. 9 and Leah
is seeing, that she stayed from to give birth; and she is taking Zilpah, her
maid; and giving her to Jacob for woman. 10 and Zilpah, maid of Leah, is giving
birth for Jacob son. 11 and Leah is saying: in raid he came raid; and calling his
name Gad. 12 and Zilpah is giving birth, maid of Leah, son second for Jacob. 13
and Leah is saying: in my happiness, that they call me happy, daughters; and
she is calling his name Asher. 14 and Reuben is going in days of harvest of
wheats; and finding mandrakes in the field; and bringing them to Leah, his
mother; and Rachel is saying to Leah: give, please, to me from mandrakes of your
son! 15 and she is saying to her: little to take of you my man, and to take moreover
mandrakes of my son? And Rachel is saying: therefore he shall lie down with you
the night, instead of mandrakes of your son. 16 and Jacob is coming from the
field in evening; and Leah is going forth to meet him, and saying: to me you
are coming, that to hire I hired you, in mandrakes of my son; and he is lying
down with her in night he. 17 and Elohim is listening to Leah; and she is
becoming pregnant; and she is giving birth for Jacob son fifth. 18 and Leah is
saying: Elohim gave my hire; which I gave my maid to my man; and she is calling
his name Issachar. 19 and Leah is becoming pregnant further, and giving birth
son sixth for Jacob. 20 and Leah is saying: Elohim dowered me good dowry; the
once my man shall prefer me, that I gave birth for him six sons; and she is
calling his name Zebulun. 21 and afterward she gave birth daughter; and she is
calling her name Dinah. 22 and Elohim is remembering Rachel; and Elohim is listening
to her, and opening her womb. 23 and she is becoming pregnant, and giving birth
son, and saying: Elohim gathered up my reproach. 24 his name Joseph, to say: Yahweh
shall add to me another son. 25 and it was, as which Rachel gave birth Joseph,
and Jacob is saying to Laban: send me, and I shall go to my place and to my
land! 26 give my women and my children, whom I served you in them; and I shall
go; that you know my service, which I served you. 27 and Laban is saying to him:
if, please, I found favor in your eyes! I augured and Yahweh is blessing me in
due to you. 28 and he is saying: specify your hire on me, and I shall give! 29
and he is saying to him: you know which I served you, and which your cattle
became with me. 30 that little which he was to you to faces of me, and he is
breaching to multitude, and Yahweh is blessing you to my foot; and now: when I
shall do, moreover I, for my household? 31 and he is saying: what I shall give
to you? And Jacob is saying: not you shall give to me anything; if you are
doing for me this thing: I shall return, graze, keep your flock. 32 I shall
pass in all your flock the day to take away from there every flockling speckled
and being flecked and every of flockling brown in the sheep and being flecked
and speckled in the goats; and he becomes my hire. 33 and my righteousness responds
in me in day morrow, that she shall come on my hire; to faces of you; all which
there is no him speckled and being flecked in goats and brown in the sheep, he being
stolen with me. 34 and Laban is saying: behold, o that it shall become as your
word. 35 and he is taking away in day the he the bucks, the striped ones, and
the ones being flecked, and all of the female goats the speckled ones, and the
ones being flecked; all, which white in him, and every brown in sheep, and he
is giving in hand of his sons. 36 and he is placing way of three days between
him and between Jacob; and Jacob grazing flock of Laban, the ones left. 37 and Jacob
is taking to him stick of white poplar smooth and hazel and plane, and peeling
in them peelings, white ones, baring the white which on the sticks. 38 and he
is putting the sticks, which he peeled, in troughs, in drinking basins of the
waters, which they are coming the flock to drink to ahead the flock; and they
are conceiving in to come them to drink. 39 and they are conceiving the flock
to the sticks; and they are giving birth, the flock, striped ones specked ones
and ones being flecked. 40 and the sheep Jacob parted, and he is giving faces
of the flock to striped one and all of brown one in flock of Laban; and he is
setting for him droves to alone of him; and not he set them on flock of Laban.
41 and it became, in every to conceive of the flock, the ones being sinewy; and
Jacob placed the sticks to eyes of the flock in troughs to conceive of them in
sticks. 42 and in to droop of the flock not he is placing; and it became the
ones drooping to Laban and the ones being sinewy to Jacob. 43 and the man is
breaching exceedingly, exceedingly; and flock many ones and maids and
menservants and camels and donkeys is becoming to him.
