Genesis 13
1 and Abram is going up from
Egypt; he and his woman; and all which to him; and Lot with him, the south rim
ward. 2 and Abram very heavy in cattle in silver and gold. 3 and he is going to
his journeyings from Negeb and as far as Beth El, as
far as the place which there became his tent of him, his tent; in start,
between Beth El and the Ai. 4 to place of the altar which he made there in
first; and Abram is calling there in name of Yahweh. 5 and moreover to Lot, the
one going with Abram, became flock and herd and tents. 6 and not the land bore
them to dwell together, that goods of them became many, and not they were able
to dwell together. 7 and contention is becoming between ones grazing cattle of
Abram and ones grazing cattle of Lot; and the
Canaanite and the Perizzite then dwelling in land. 8
and Abram is saying to Lot: must not be, please, contention is becoming between
me and you; and between ones being my shepherds and ones being your shepherd; that
mortals we, brothers. 9 not all the land to your faces? Be parted, please, from
on me! If the left and I shall go right, and if the right and I shall go left.
10 and Lot is lifting his eyes and seeing all basin of the Jordan, that all her
irrigated; to faces of to wreck Yahweh Sodom and Gomorrah; as garden of Yahweh;
as land of Egypt, your come to Zoar. 11 and Lot is choosing for him all basin
of the Jordan, and Lot is journeying from east; and they are being parted man
from on his brother. 12 Abram dwelt in land of Canaan and Lot dwelt in cities
of the basin, and he is tenting as far as Sodom. 13 and mortals of Sodom exceedingly
evil ones and sinful to Yahweh. 14 and Yahweh said to Abram, after to be parted
of Lot, from with him: lift, please, your eyes and see from the place which you
there north ward and south rim ward and east ward and sea ward! 15 that all the
land which you seeing: to you I am giving her, and to your seed; unto eon. 16
and I place your seed as soil of the land, which, if man is being able to count
soil of the land moreover your seed shall be counted. 17 rise, walk in land to her
length and to her width! That to you I am giving her. 18 and Abram is tenting and
coming and dwelling among oaks of Mamre, which in Hebron; and building there
altar to Yahweh.
