Genesis 11
1 and it is being all of
the earth lip one and words ones. 2 and it is becoming in to journey them from
east and they are finding valley in land Shinar, and they are dwelling there. 3
and they are saying man to his associate: grant attention! We shall mold bricks
and burn to burning; and it is becoming to them the brick for stone and the
asphalt it became to them for mortar. 4 and they are saying: grant attention! We
shall build for us city, and tower and its top in heavens; and we shall make
for us name; lest we are scattering over surfaces of all the earth. 5 and Yahweh
is descending to see the city and the tower, which sons of the humanity built.
6 and Yahweh is saying: behold, people one and lip one to all them! And this to
start them to do; and now: not anything shall be restricted from them, which
they are planning to do. 7 grant attention! We shall descend and disintegrate
there their lip, which not they shall hear man lip of his associate. 8 and Yahweh
is scattering them from there over surfaces of all the earth; and they are
leaving off to build the city. 9 on so he called name of her: Babylon; that
there Yahweh disintegrated lip of all the earth; and from there Yahweh scattered
them over surfaces of all the earth. 10 these genealogical records of Shem:
Shem son of hundred year; and is generating Arphaxad two years after the
deluge. 11 and Shem is living, after to generate of him Arphaxad five hundred
years; and is generating sons and daughters.
12 and Arphaxad lived five
and thirty years; and is generating Shelach. 13 and Arphaxad is living after to
generate of him Shelach three and four hundred years; and is generating sons
and daughters.
14 and Shelach lived thirty
years and is generating Eber. 15 and Shelach is living after to generate of him
Eber three and four hundred years; and is generating sons and daughters.
16 and Eber is living four
and thirty years and is generating Peleg. 17 and Eber is living after to generate
of him Peleg thirty and four of hundred years; and is generating sons and
daughters.
18 and Peleg is living thirty
years and he is generating Reu. 19 and Peleg is living after to generate of him
Reu nine and two hundred years; and is generating sons and daughters.
20 and Reu is living two
and thirty years and is generating Serug. 21 and Reu is living after to generate
of him Serug seven and two hundred years; and is generating sons and daughters.
22 and Serug is living thirty
years and he is generating Nahor. 23 and Serug is living after to generate of
him Nahor two hundred years; and is generating sons and daughters.
24 and Nahor is living nine
and twenty years and he is generating Terah. 25 and Nahor is living after to
generate of him Terah nine of ten and hundred years; and is generating sons and
daughters.
26 and Terah is living seventy
years and he is generating Abram Nahor and Haran. 27 and these genealogical
records of Terah: Terah generated Abram Nahor and Haran; and Haran generated
Lot. 28 and Haran is dying on faces of Terah, his father, in land of his birth;
in Ur of Chaldeans. 29 and Abram and Nahor are taking to them women: name of
woman of Abram Sarai; and name of woman of Nahor Milcah, daughter of Haran,
father of Milcah and father of Iscah. 30 and Sarai is
being barren, there is no child to her. 31 and Terah is taking Abram, his son, and
Lot, son of Haran, son of his son; and Sarai, his daughter in law, woman of
Abram, his son; and they are going forth with them from Ur of Chaldeans to go land
ward Canaan; and they are coming as far as Haran; and they are dwelling there.
32 and days of Terah are becoming five and two hundred years; and Terah is
dying in Haran.
